Maude Raen's First Birthday

The day that changed us forever.

This year was one I will most certainly never forget.

Motherhood has this way of knocking you flat on your face, ripping your heart from your chest day after day, and leaving you feeling like an empty shell…

And then all at the same time, you wake up feeling like there is no other job in the world that you would rather be doing!

I was tested, pushed to my max (at times I broke the unbreakable ceiling), I cried A LOT, I felt alone and angry that no one told me how hard being a mom could be…and I’m just now realizing why you rarely hear exactly what it’s like to have a child.

If you knew, you wouldn’t have any LOL kidding…sort of hahah

In all seriousness, it’s something you never truly understand until you’re in it! And even then, EVERY SINGLE CHILD IS SO DIFFERENT! In my case and experience, I gave birth to a wild soul through and through…hence the theme of her birthday celebration;

STAY WILD

It was a beautiful day filled with loved ones, and everything turned out absolutely stunning! Despite Maude coming down with a cold the day of the party, we all pushed through and had the best time celebrating the special little girl that we adore!
