In case the location “Sand Dunes” sounds warm to you, and trust me I thought the same thing, and you decide to wear the flowiest of dresses and basically get half naked to show off your baby bump all whilst trying to look blissful, radiant, and warm mid march, let me be the first to warn you how terribly wrong I was. I think I cried real tears for the very first time at a photo shoot because I literally did not know what to do with myself I was so freezing!

But, despite the fact that my whole body was ice, and I thought I almost went into early labor because of it, (We kept joking the whole time about what we would do if the baby started to come, Brolin’s comments were priceless, as always) the pictures turned out AMAZING. And oh soo worth it! Thank you x100 million @brolintaylor! You’re a trooper.

HUGE thank you to @makeupbysamanthaj for making me feel 100% for this shoot! Pregnancy has a way of making you notice every single little change your body is making, and that has honestly made it even more difficult to love myself throughout the process! But a little TLC from Sam and BAM, I felt like a glowing pregnant goddess! Hit her up and let her make all of your makeup dreams come true! <3

Next up, MY HAIR! K guys….If you want to know the sad truth about what my hair looked like before @amara.dayspa.salon got ahold of these locks, let me paint you a picture! Grown out bleach (fried) blonde hair from when I thought it would be a good idea to bleach my whole head, covered with grown out brown, and the ends of my hair literally GREEN from our Mexico trip that would not. come. out! To summarize, a nightmare! But, Carly saved the day like a champ, and gave me the exact color and look I was going for! Bless her. OKKKKKAYYY can we talk about how perfect these maternity dresses are for a sec!?! HOLY! @fillyboomaternity coming in clutch just in time for the shoot! I seriously had no clue what I was going to wear the week of, and I didn’t feel cute in anything I tried on until I miraculously stumbled upon this beautiful line (Thank you Chantel Marie for shooting their lookbook exactly when I needed a dress) Needless to say, I cried when they were willing to come together and collaborate on this shoot with me, I felt like the stars literally aligned for me! They also have a regular line, for those of you who aren’t pregnant. For those of you who are and can’t seem to find that “perfect” maternity dress, look no further! For real! Filly Boo Maternity is what dreams are made of!

I couldn’t ask for more beautiful maternity pictures! I will treasure these forever and ever as the moments leading up to the biggest and most exciting change of me and Blake’s life!
